"FOUNDATION", the 3rd release from SNAGGLE,, represents the ensemble's most ambitious project yet: a suite of 10 tunes separated by 11 interludes, inspired by Isaac Asimov’s legendary 15-novel Foundation Universe, bringing one of science fiction’s greatest & most enduring literary sagas vividly to life. Maclean's evolution as a writer is evident on this 3rd recording, as his compositions explore Asimov's themes of power, knowledge, technology and the rise and fall of civilizations. The synergistic connectivity between SNAGGLE's 6 hand-picked musicians is a cornerstone of the ensemble's core sound & group dynamic while embracing collective storytelling, personal expression and creative risk.
